Dr. Edith Brignoni is a Ph.D. neuroscientist with over 15 years of experience in human development and brain health. She specializes in Developmental Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience, with a career spanning top-tier academic research institutions and applied community programs. Originally trained in Psychology, Dr. Brignoni earned her doctorate in Neuroscience from Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed her postdoctoral specialization at Stanford University School of Medicine. Since then, she has dedicated her career to translating rigorous brain science into practical tools for everyday life. Her work centers on how early experiences—from pregnancy through adolescence—shape brain architecture and lifelong well-being. As the founder and director of Baby Abrazo™, Dr. Brignoni leads a mission to bring Neuroscience-informed care to families, healthcare providers, and educators—making expert brain health guidance accessible in both English and Spanish. Her approach is science-based, culturally attuned, and grounded in the belief that small daily actions can create powerful long-term outcomes for children and families.
